For anyone that owns or uses an Apple product, you’re more then familiar with the infamous white charging cable. You’re probably like me and have on lying around here and there. Maybe at the office or in your vehicle, lying around next to your computer. It probably feels like you could turn around anywhere and find one, that is until your phone pops up telling you that your battery is down below 20%, then you can’t find a damn cable for anything. It’s like they all take off and hide where socks and ink pens disappear to.
Well, CaseInity aims to take this issue and make it a thing of the past, just like mismatched socks are to year round sandal wearers, with their new shock-resistant, Cord-On-Board iPhone case.
The Cord-On-Board is named for exactly what it is. An iPhone case with a charging cable tucked inside. The case itself contains a 9.5” cable, which makes it a bit larger than a typical iPhone case, but from that comes the “shock-resistance” as the cause is built from a rubbery material that ensures the case will take the shock and brunt of most falls that exist when you drop your phone. So it might be a little thicker, but it has many good reasons for that. On top of containing the cord-on-board, and being shockproof, the case is also self-standing, and curved giving it an ergonomically feel.
CaseInity is hoping for funding for this case over on Kickstarter. They’re shooting for $20k, and a $25 backing will get you one of the first cases off the production line.
