Check out the newest image of Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man, from the new Entertainment Weekly.
A few thoughts on this new picture:
- Another picture without the mask? Really? We know its Andrew Garfield, we need more pictures of Spidey with his mask on! (I’d also like a diagram showing me how he fits all that hair in his mask. Just saying!)
- Elbow pads? It looks like we have elbow pads or at least a gray area on the arms around the elbows. Oh well, I suppose that can still go with the theory that this costume comes from his short-lived wrestling career.
- Is that webbing under his right arm? Hard to say, the angle or lighting doesn’t exactly work. Plus I think if he had webbing under his arms we would have already seen it in other shots, because webbing under the arms would be a fan boy’s dream. Even if its short-lived during his wrestling career.
- Tap to see Trailer? That better be meaning a NEW trailer. The 13th marks the 1 year anniversary since the release of the first official image of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man. Which was another maskless photo.
