HALLOWEEN: The Game Stalks Onto PC & Consoles in 2026 — First Trailer Unleashed
One of Gamescom’s biggest “wait, what?!” moments: HALLOWEEN: The Game is officially coming next year. Executive-produced by John Carpenter himself, this one’s an asymmetric stealth-horror take on the 1978 classic, headed to PC and consoles.
Set in a faithful, ‘78-era Haddonfield, players can either keep the town alive as terrified civilians or slip on the mask and become Michael Myers—stalking, sabotaging, and, well… you know.
What to expect
- Play your way: Solo story mode, offline vs. bots, or online multiplayer.
- Two sides of terror:
- Civilians: Stick to the shadows, warn residents, and find a way to call for help.
- Michael Myers: Hunt methodically, kill the lights (and the phone lines), and make Halloween night your playground.
- Stealth > spray & pray: Every mode rewards patience, planning, and precision.
The official synopsis teases a one-versus-many experience built around strategy and tension—less jump-spam, more creeping dread. Exactly what you want from HALLOWEEN.
