He-Man & The Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction Revealed at Gamescom
By the power of Grayskull, He-Man is back! 🗡️ During Gamescom 2025, Limited Run Games revealed He-Man & The Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction — a retro-inspired 2D beat-’em-up that looks straight out of the ‘90s arcade era.
The reveal trailer shows off colorful pixel-art, massive character sprites, and plenty of over-the-top Eternian action. Think Saturday morning cartoon meets arcade brawler.
Gameplay & Features
- Retro brawler style – Classic side-scrolling, beat-’em-up action.
- Two-player co-op – Fight with a friend as He-Man, Teela, Man-At-Arms, and more.
- Pixel-art throwback – Big, detailed sprites built to honor Eternia’s heroes.
- Sprawling campaign – 12+ diverse levels full of enemies, power-ups, and boss fights.
This is the kind of He-Man game fans would’ve begged for back in the SNES/Genesis days — it just took 30 years to finally happen.
