Since early on in the filming of Deadpool & Wolverine, there were rumors that Taylor Swift would have a cameo in the film, likely playing the mutant Dazzler. Whether that proves to be true or not, the latest poster, which was shared by the official Australia & New Zealand Facebook account for Marvel is helping fuel those speculations.
The new poster depicts two friendship bracelets bearing the color schemes and names of Deadpool and Wolverine, along with a third bracelet with the release date – July 25. The whole friendship bracelet thing is a huge part of the Swifty fandom but is also very on-brand for Deadpool.
It will be a bit before we know if this hints at a Taylor Swift cameo, or if this was simply a fun Deadpool-esq poster, where Swifties were looking for something that wasn’t there. Either way, it’s always fun to speculate, and with a Deadpool movie that looks to be taking aim at nearly everything that’s ever had the name Marvel stamped on it, really nothing should be considered off the table.
