We’re just a little over 6 weeks away from the release of Marvel Studios’ Deadpool & Wolverine, which means the marketing machine is heating up! Today saw the release of a number of new theatrical posters for the upcoming film courtesy of IMAX, Fandango, 4DX Global, ScreenX, Dolby, and Real 3D. The posters feature both Wolverine and Deadpool of course, with the Fandango poster being drawn by Wade Wilson himself, one featuring the pair sporting friendship bracelets, and a couple of Dogpool appearances.
Want to know what you don’t see? Wolverine in a mask!! (But to be fair, if you did that you’d be hiding both Ryan Reynolds AND Hugh Jackmans’ faces, that is as much of, if not more of a crime!) You can check out all the new posters in the slideshow below.
Deadpool & Wolverine will, of course, be the first R-rated movie in the MCU. And they’re not pulling any punches! As they say, the proof is in the pudding, and the latest official synopsis drops two F-bombs.
Marvel Studios presents their most significant mistake to date—Deadpool & Wolverine. A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life. His days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. When his homeworld faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit-up again with an even more reluctantlier… reluctanter? Reluctantest? He must convince a reluctant Wolverine to—Fuck. Synopses are so fucking stupid.
I cannot wait for all the parents who complain about this film when they’ve not paid attention and take their kids.
Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters on July 26th.
