Alien: Romulus, the latest film in the Alien franchise, will take place in 2142. Continuity-wise, that will place it between the event of Alien and Aliens.
Alien: Romulus, which is directed by Fede Alvarez and produced by Ridley Scott, will be released in theaters on August 16, 2024.
