Marvel Studios released the long-awaited first trailer for Deadpool 3, officially titled Deadpool & Wolverine. While this film is the first to be produced by Marvel Studios, it definitely looks like we’re getting the same ole Deadpool!
Proclaiming himself to be the “Marvel Jesus” the trailer gives us an idea of how Deadpool will be getting pulled into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Oh, he also proclaims “pegging isn’t new to me, but it is for Disney.”
Wolverine is only teased, primarily at the end of the trailer, but there are also blink and you’ll miss them first looks at characters such as Cassandra Nova, and what looks to be a potential Wolverine variant. Check out the trailer below and see what I mean.
There are already a number of additional easter eggs being pointed out online, including a cover to a certain coming book (*cough* Secret Wars *cough*) and a former studio’s logo. In the meantime, enjoy this first poster.
Oh, and the trailer is full of the TVA. So if you haven’t watched Loki on Disney+ it may be time to check it out. (Although I’m sure we’ll get a quick explanation of who the TVA is in the film itself.)
