New character posters for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds that have been spotted at the Mission Chicago Star Trek convention, reveal that we will learn, in on-screen canon, Spock’s full name.
Spock’s full name is S’chn T’Gain Spock.
No idea how to pronounce it, and I’m not about to try with this Kentucky accent.
I said “on-screen” canon because Spock’s full name was actually revealed in the 1985 Pocket Book novel Star Trek: Ishmael by author Barbara Hambly.
Ethan Peck returns to the role he first stepped into during the second season of Star Trek Discovery. I’ve enjoyed his take on the younger Vulcan up to this point, so I’m excited to see what he does with the character in Strange New Worlds.
Joining Lt. Commander S’chn T’Gain Spock on screen and in full name reveal is Babs Olusanmokun‘s Dr. Jabilo M’Benga, whose name was also revealed via poster.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is set to premiere on Paramount+ on May 5th.
