Lucasfilm has released the first poster for its upcoming Disney+ series, Star Wars: The Acolyte, ahead of the series’ trailer, being released tomorrow.
With the caption “In an age of light, a darkness rises” the somewhat surprisingly bloody poster also reveals a June 4th premiere date for the series.
A brief new synopsis for the series has also been released. “In The Acolyte, an investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg),” it reads. “As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems…”
Star Wars: The Acolyte premieres on Disney+ on June 4, 2024.
