STAR WARS: AHSOKA Character Posters Revealed

Cloverstrike

Disney and Lucasfilm have released some new character posters for Star Wars: Ahsoka which you can check out, here at Geekasms!

Alongside Rosario Dawson’s portrayal of Ahsoka Tano, the fresh character posters for the newest Disney+ installment of Star Wars feature valiant companions Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) and Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), as well as the characters in the series who possess a certain ambivalence or lean towards villainy, such as Baylan Skoll (the late Ray Stevenson), a former Jedi turned mercenary, his apprentice Shin Hati (Ivanna Sakhno), and Morgan Elsbeth (Diana Lee Inosanto), an associate of Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Ahsoka stands as a much-anticipated addition to the Star Wars saga, particularly resonating with devoted enthusiasts of the Star Wars Animation Universe. Serving as a continuation of the narrative from the Star Wars Rebels series, Ahsoka picks up where Hera, Sabine, and their Rebel cell known as the “Spectres” left off, collaborating with Ahsoka to oppose the Empire and contribute to the evolution of the Rebel Alliance.

Beyond its role as a Rebels sequel, Ahsoka will also reintroduce the formidable adversary of the Spectres, Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen), while laying the groundwork for a forthcoming cinematic crossover event orchestrated by Star Wars writer/director/producer Dave Filoni. This event will unite the personas from the New Republic Era, a time encompassing Ahsoka Tano, The Mandalorians, Boba Fett’s syndicate, and a multitude of New Republic officers, bounty hunters, and remnants of the Imperial regime that occupy the spaces in-between.

Star Wars: Ahsoka premieres its first two episodes on Disney+ starting on August 22nd.
