Concept Artist Shares Tom Holland Black Spider-Man Suit Concept Art

Cloverstrike

Thomas Du Crest, who has been a concept artist on such indie films as Spider-Man: Far From Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Avengers: Endgame, and Venom: Let There Be Carnage, has gone to Twitter to share his take on what Tom Holland could look like in Spider-Man’s infamous Black Suit (aka Venom symbiote).

The black suit, which is otherwise known as the symbiote suit, and that’s clearly what we’re looking at above.

The symbiote suite first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #252, with the suit’s origin being told in Secret Wars #8, where Spider-Man discovers a machine thought to be a fabric replicator after his original costume is heavily damaged. The machine produces a black sphere, which most know ends up being revealed to be a symbiotic life-form that is eventually known as Venom.

Clearly, if we see the symbiote suit and/or Venom in the MCU, the original will have to be somewhat altered (what’s new for Venom?) However, a Tom Holland Spider-Man who has a damaged suit, and comes across an innocent-looking black sphere of goo, could be what we eventually see on screen.

Regardless of how we get there, I just want to see that white spider emblem on screen sometime in the future!
